SIPD is investing a lot in research as this is one of the key areas that will drive policy makers to enact policies and laws that include intersex children and people in Uganda. Research is very important as it measures the magnitude of the problem hence determining the current situation, setting a pace and a goal.
Through research SIPD is in position to test, improve and scale up its programming as well as contribute to the wider knowledge base through its systematic investigation which has enabled it to bring more stakeholders on board including the Ministry of Health. To engage such stakeholders and more you must have studied materials, sources, statistics, facts established and new conclusions made.
